Lauren Simmons became the youngest and only current full-time female trader at the New York Stock Exchange at age 22 (in 2017). She graduated Kennesaw State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in genetics and a minor in statistics. Her journey then led her to NYC, where she quickly became the mentee of Richard Rosenblatt, the CEO of Rosenblatt Securities (her trading firm). She has gained the title “The Lone Woman On Wall Street.” Lauren also became the second African American woman in the Exchange's history to have such a position (with a 226 year gap).
